Get Involved - Stay Involved

By encouraging kids to think about - and express their concerns regarding drugs and alcohol you are making a commitment to them. Help them by reinforcing helping choices and positive attitudes. Research shows that youth drug use rates are influenced more by young people's attitudes about drugs, and by prevailing social norms, than by the availability of drugs.

As key individuals in their young lives, you have the potential to influence and effect outcomes. One of those outcomes is keeping kids drug free!

Most of America's youth have an alternative to drugs that is their Anti-Drug - something in their lives that is so important that they choose to do it instead of drugs. It might be basketball, tennis, drawing, music, family or friends...there are many possibilities.

Take the time to discover a child's Anti-Drug and help them develop it. The choice they make may keep them from using drugs as an alternative.
